Derby Daze

For weeks the boys have been cutting, sanding, painting and decorating their Pinewood Derby cars.  And Race Day has finally arrived!  With a fine coat of graphite coating their fingers, the happy Scouts presented their cars to be checked in.  Holding their breath, they waited anxiously while the Official inspection and weigh in was completed.  At last!!  It was time to send them to the parking lot and the race to begin!

 At intermission, the scouts were busy voting for the Most Original, Most Hands Off and Most Beautiful.  After a yummy lunch of pizza, they also created a derby themed snack!

 And enjoyed some time in the game room, waiting for the races to begin again.
